By leveraging Einstein’s AI capabilities, you can put more power in your developers’ hands to solve problems and iterate more quickly (and faster) through and to solutions, all while ensuring higher quality, less buggy code.
Einstein-Powered Flow Creation: AI Builds Automation for You
Einstein AI isn’t just for reporting and code; it’s also coming to Salesforce Flows. With the Spring ’25 Release, Einstein can generate Salesforce Flows based on your natural language prompts. This powerful feature assists in debugging Flows and summarizing automation logic. (From the Release Notes: “Transform Automation with Einstein Copilot for Flows” – Development). This translates directly into streamlined automation efforts, reducing development time and complexity. By leveraging Einstein’s AI, you can empower citizen developers to build powerful workflows and streamline automation efforts across your business.
For consultants who have seen many flow implementations… not all great… this will improve baseline quality tremendously, as well as the process of iterative improvements or destruction of technical debt.
AI for Marketing Cloud: Generative Content & AI-Optimized Campaigns
Marketing Cloud users are getting a boost from AI. Einstein now automates email, SMS, and campaign copy generation. (From the Release Notes: “Supercharge Marketing with AI-Powered Tools” – Marketing). This dramatically enhances marketing productivity, allowing for the creation of high-quality, consistent messaging across all your marketing channels. With AI handling the content generation, your marketing teams can focus on strategy and analysis, driving better campaign performance. We are super curious to see how campaign optimization and what generative Campaigns could look like. This could be a big time saver, and if modeled well, impactful on moving metrics on your funnels.

Being able to analyze data in near real time and produce a piece of valuable information for sales or service translates to higher customer satisfaction, deeper trust, and richer relationships.
Add AI-Powered Quick Actions to Record Pages
For users looking for a way to more closely integrate their work with AI this has arrived. With this update, users can run AI-powered actions directly on Salesforce records. (From the Release Notes: “Add AI-Powered Quick Actions to Record Pages” – Sales). This will take niche tasks like “log a call” to an entirely new level.
Data Cloud Enhancements – Cross-Cloud Connectivity
Data Cloud is becoming even more powerful with expanded integrations. Spring ’25 brings expanded integrations with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and Databricks for real-time CRM insights. (From the Release Notes: “Connect Your Data from Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and Databricks (Generally Available)” – Data Cloud). By centralizing your data landscape and connecting to external data warehouses, you can unlock deeper insights and improve CRM decision-making with real-time access to critical information.
Note to reader – we have a bit more coming on this topic soon. Data Cloud Consumption Costs can run a bit high, and many stories have been told about “surprise bills” at the end of the month. (Note Salesforce is resolving this with better monitoring, alerts, and controls in Spring ’25). We know how to solve this problem.
Create a Semantic Data Model Report with a Single Click (Beta)
Reporting on complex data just got easier. Now, you can instantly generate Data Cloud reports for complex datasets. (From the Release Notes: “Report on Semantic Data Models with One Click (Beta)” – Data Cloud). By supporting semantic joins and logical data models, you can reduce the complexity of Data Cloud reporting and gain faster access to insights from complex datasets.
Translation to non-technical folks: you can get a build reports now for any data you have in your company, whether it lives in Salesforce or not.
We’re hoping and betting on that we’ll see gen AI evolve to generate report visualizations on data. It’s just a matter of time…

Data Cloud Recipes are now able to offer even more targeted results. Now you can filter your sampled data to get more accurate and relevant results. (From the Release Notes: “Get More Representative Sample Data in Recipes from Local Salesforce Connections” – Data Cloud). This will make for better data-driven decisions and can help you more easily see what’s missing.
It’s the “little” things – troubleshooting variety of data in datasets makes report development go a little faster. This is nice to proof concepts and solutions before shipping them out the door.
List Views Are Getting Major Upgrades
Spring ’25 has delivered some excellent updates to list views. This means you can utilize new multi-column sorting, enhanced filtering, and performance improvements to increase productivity with more efficient and effective list views. (From the Release Notes: “Customize List Views to Show More of Your Important Data” – Sales). This will reduce time spent sifting through data and make faster decisions.
There has been some chatter recently on LinkedIn about the simplicity and effectiveness of List Views as a solution to view, edit, and action data in bulk for various niche use cases and needs. Such a simple tool that is useful in so many ways, and even more now – these are very well thought out and done.

Plus, real-time previews and CLI-based debugging for Lightning Web Runtime sites will accelerate LWC development with faster debugging and instant previews. (From the Release Notes: “Develop Lightning Web Components Locally” – Development). All of this reduces development costs and improves code quality.
Apex Compression API – Native File Handling in Apex
There is a large number of use cases where this is helpful. This new API is for compressing and extracting ZIP files within Apex which eliminates need for external integrations when handling attachments and logs. (From the Release Notes: “Zip and Unzip Files Using Apex” – Development). By simplifying Apex development with native file handling capabilities, you can reduce integration complexity and improve code efficiency.
